Dublin Belfast Economic Corridor host US delegation as part of Transatlantic Fintech Exchange

Yesterday, Dublin Belfast Economic Corridor (DBEC) were delighted to host a US delegation at Killeavy Castle Estate as part of the The Fintech Corridor and American Transaction Processors Coalition Transatlantic Fintech Exchange visit happening this week in Dublin, Newry and Belfast.

The event highlighted the many opportunities on the Economic Corridor, which houses 2.3 million people, 31% of the Island of Ireland population and 38% of the Island of Ireland business base.

Business leaders from First Derivative, UHY Farrelly Dawe White Limited and Coca-Cola HBS shared their stories and strategic insights to living, working and running their successful businesses on the Economic Corridor.

Delegates in attendance also heard from some of the business support organisations working along the Corridor – Invest Northern Ireland, IDA Ireland, Enterprise Ireland and InterTrade Ireland as well as the further and higher education colleges Southern Regional College and Dundalk Institute of Technology who working in partnership with the Fintech sector to deliver apprenticeships and other education programmes.

The event was finished off by a wonderful showcase of local food and drink producers located along the Corridor.
